Recently, I was at a stoplight on North Capitol in DC. Glancing in my rearview mirror, I saw a man jump out of his car and started waving frantically with both hands up to the cab of a Peterbilt semitruck.
He finally got the driver's attention and then bent over to pick up a wallet that was on the footstep of the truck, it was the driver's. The thoughtful and generous man handed the wallet to the rightful owner in the truck.
I knew the road angel had to be young of age due to the alacrity with which he performed so I assumed him as a millennial. This gratuitous act of charity taking place in the world's most power-filled metropolis shattered preconceived ideas.
Way to go millennial angel, well done.
