A fellow nurse read my book and told me, "It describes what you are like. "


I'm Darren Murphy. I'm a nurse, an author, a speaker and a writer. I work in an Ambulatory surgery center and my boss has told me I get more thank you letters, than all the other nurses combined. I am always getting requests from former patients to take care of them again, and or their friend or family. And the employees there ask for me to be the nurse in recovery room to take care of them or their family member when they are in the hospital. This is not to brag but I really have studied how to communicate and all the forms it takes:

  • Customer Service

  • Relationship Building

  • Negotaiting

  • Anger/Conflict Resolution

  • Team Building

  • Public Speaking
